Multiplying UV coordinates doesn't stick

zoltan erdokovy 10 years ago updated by Freya Holmér (Developer) 9 years ago 4

I multiply a UV Coordinate node with a value to increase tiling. When I change the constant then the effect is instantly visible. However after a compile the original UV tiling is produced (x1 multiplier) in spite of what the constant node shows. Typing my desired value again makes the change show up until the next compile.

Is it a regular Value or a Value Property?

It was a regular Value. However now I have trouble reproing it... I restarted Unity, loaded the shader and it did come up showing a 1x tiling with 16 multiplier in that Value node. However as soon as I changed it everything started behaving as expected. I created a new shader from scratch but still no luck reproducing the bug... I'll keep an eye out for more clues.
