Ah, good catch. That's because normal maps doesn't have an alpha channel when unpacked. I should hide the A channel when it's marked as a normal map!
Node comments will now be displayed on nodes that are used multiple times, as of 0.24 :)
(Since the other nodes are put on the same line)

It's not exactly what you requested, so if you feel more than that is necessary, let me know!
I did plan to put the comments in the shader code, but I never got around to it. I will do so soon :)
Does it still happen if you restart Unity?

You can make flow maps in Shade Forge as it is, but I've planned to include a flow map shader in the examples once it goes 1.0 :)
