Maximize the window or increase resolution of your monitor. Perhaps rotate the monitor 90 degrees and go with a tall layout instead of a wide one?
If none of the above works, you may need to buy a new, bigger monitor.
(I could also add a scrollbar)

Making fog work on just additive/refractive is one thing, but a generalised system sounds tricky! This begs the question - how should fog affect all combinations of blending? For additive in particular it should render the fog with a black color, which makes the fog color simply make the additive blending, well, stop adding (Since x + 0 = x)

Scary! You'd probably be better off editing the mesh though, to actually have triangles on the backside too though, double-sided rendering is more expensive in many cases :)
But I have to get this fixed anyhow

It's a planned feature! Ideally, you should have two dropdowns instead of one, so you can combine yourself :)
