DX11 Displacement Pulling left/right in addition to up/down
I have a height map and a slider plugged into a multiply node plugged into DX11 Displacement. The tesselated geometry pulls left/right ina ddition to the wanted up/down. I would like to remove the left and right deformation and keep it stuck to the normal direction of the original mesh. Any ideas?

Added a Normal Direction node into the mix and it fixed the problem. Going to use this setup for 2d characters to add a little extra geometry for Leia 3d to work with.
