Panner Node Speed

Is there a way to control the speed of the panner node?

I tried using the Multiply, Append, Time solution, but it does not work on particles for some reason.

You have to plug the time node in the distance input

I kind of have it working, although I think it may be setup wrong.

Here's what I have so far.

You're not supposed to use the distance node in this case, use the Dist input of the Panner node:
