Allow shader files to be checked out automatically with Unity's built in Perforce integration when opened in Shader Forge

I am currently using Shader Forge alongside Unity's built in Version Control system with Perforce. Currently if you try an open a shader file that isn't currently checked out, you will get errors that access to the shader file is denied since by default everything is read only. It would be great if it could automatically check the shader file out in perforce when you open it in Shader Forge.
This is a messy issue, but it may get fixed soon. If you could figure out how to auto-check-out files, let me know, and this should be fast to implement :)

We have been hitting this same issue lately, has this issue been updated or fixed?
