Shader Forge data not saved when shader can't compile
I noticed while working on a pretty big shader that when the shader can't compile, the Shader Forge Data which gets added as a comment in your .shader file also won't update!
This is kind of annoying, because I had moments where Unity would crash and I would lose about 30 minutes of work because I wasn't able to compile the shader in the time before the crash.
I now work around this by ALWAYS having a shader compilable.
