value parameters

vincent 11 years ago updated by Freya Holmér (Developer) 10 years ago 1

both Value nodes with and without the parameters look the same in the list? I can tell the difference now by the 'new' comment next to it. But that will properly be gone next build.

I really like the editor!!! And the fast feedback and stuff:) keep up the good work!!

This is simply due to the node list not being categorized whatsoever, and the fact that properties aren't marked green there yet! Not sure if I will rename it; if I name it "Value Property", it kinda makes you want to name all properties like that, making some of them too long to fit into the node title. And sure, I can add a convert feature :)
(Would be nice if you could keep it to one request per thread though!)

Edit: This should be fixed by now! They have the same name but are in different categories. The node browser color-codes the properties as well.

And an other suggestion about the value node is to rightclick to convert the node to a parameter node.
