I'm not sure this is related to the divide node, in fact I think it might be the channel blend node, but I am getting a lot of invalid initialisation errors in the log when trying to do things with the output of the channel blend in this case a divide..

This has now been fixed in 0.26
That's because it's (incorrectly) outputting a 4-component output when you have a 4-component as a mask. As a temporary solution - add a component mask afterwards, masking out RGB
