Node quick select mapped to mouse wheel

I think was a new feature. Maybe I do not understand the full functionality yet. But in SF, say you want to add a Texture Asset, Time and Texture2D node. You can hold the "T" button and a menu pops up showing all the nodes that start with letter "T'. This is by far one of my favorite features in SF. It used to be that when you held the key, you would then use your mouse to select the node. Now it has changed to the mouse wheel for selection. I find this new method less accurate and intuitive. Would it be possible to change this back to the old way or like I said earlier, maybe I'm not understanding the full functionality of it. But it was far easier before to quickly lay down nodes when you could use mouse instead of the scroll wheel to select from the list.
