Hm, that's not very nice, thanks for reporting!
Currently it's not possible, as you can't pass matrices into SF shaders. This is something that will probably make it into a future version, probably after 1.0 is out.
What do you generally use it for?
This has now been fixed in 0.19!
(There may still be some obscure way of breaking it, but let's hope nobody does that)

Hehe, great! And yeah, visual feedback is important, which is where I thought the previous node-based shader solutions were lacking, among other things :)
Wait what? Could you take a screenshot or record a video?
I suspect the post FX itself might be forcing it to be rendered in deferred, hm. I'll have to look into this, thanks for the report :)
