Normal maps do not work and the lighting appears glitchy and broken on shaders that utilize the second UV channel.

This issue should be gone now that 0.17 is out!
I think this is because you didn't assign a normal map to the normal nodes when creating the shader, so they weren't marked as normal maps internally.
Can you assign a normal map to those nodes, and let me know if that fixed the issue? :)
