Shader Forge stopped opening after last update

Chris Tian 8 years ago updated by Freya Holmér (Developer) 8 years ago 3

I was having issues with Shader Forge's panners no longer working right - they just froze the image and stretched it rather than animating, so I went to asset store and did a full re-import. Now Shader Forge doesn't open its window in Unity at all in ANY of my projects. It just opens a gray window and remains that way

Please help. I need Shader Forge to work again and I don't know what next step should be.

Seems like you might have the wrong version of SF for your current version of Unity. Try deleting SF and then updating through the asset store inside Unity, and then install again.

More details on a fresh reinstall: http://acegikmo.com/shaderforge/faq/?Q=erroronnewversion#erroronnewversion

A re-install has at least restored basic functionality. I can open ShaderForge again.

However, my other issues remain. Panner functionality is broken and Compile Shader button is frozen yellow.

I am not sure if this is a related issue or not. I do have a ticket open for it. I'll post this there as well and you can decide if this should be closed if it's unrelated.
