trans mission
The transmission and light wrapping seems to be based upon the diffuse texture, so in darker area's in the texture there is less transmission. Is this possible to let a separate mask determinate the transmission and light wrapping? Thx
Answer
This is already possible - You can input a texture in both the transmission and light wrapping inputs of the main node, altering it in any way you want, including masking it :)
(Unless I misunderstood you?)
You understood perfect what I tried to explain:) After some more research I found why I though it did not work. The transmission color seems to canceled out by real time shadows from a directional light ?
It's not cancelled out (Or rather, shouldn't be) by the real-time shadows, but it might be affected by it at the moment. Perhaps I did put the transmission in the wrong place - I'll have to look into it!
