There are three ways to delete node connections:
1. Hold alt and drag RMB in empty space to start drawing a cutting line, and cross the connections you want to delete, and then release!
2. Hover your mouse over a connector (Not the line, the connector), and hold alt and click RMB
3. Hover your mouse over a connector (Not the line, the connector), and press backspace
If you want to be able to cut/paste/move nodes, open a new request to keep things separate :)

Alt + RMB over connections crashes Shaderforge for me. The window freezes and looses a lot of nodes due to what I suppose is a graphical glitch. But the rest of unity runs fine.
bah! It's working now just because you asked. I've had this behaviour at other times too. But then it was when I connected certain nodes. Sadly I've not been able to reproduce it in any consistent way.
Oh, lol... I meant Unity 5.2.2f1... wrong button pressed :)
After restarting the way 1) works, the way 3) still unavailable.
It's no problem. I never knew about 1) and 2) and used 3) for about two years until yesterday.
Now I have found this ticket and got two alternative methods. Thank you.
